Seating

Want to know how to find your seat or how our seating system works? Check it out here.

What is the seating policy?

We do general admission seating at all of our venues. Patrons are encouraged to buy or reserve their tickets beforehand to ensure that we have enough seats for them, however a specific seat cannot be guaranteed.

What is group seating?

Group seating allows us to manage larger crowds for our productions. Once you arrive and check in with the box office to get your tickets you will be given a number which corresponds to a group. Once this number is called, that group will begin seating. This is a method we only use when productions have come close to selling out or have sold out.

Are the venues wheelchair accessible?

If you have specific needs for seating please let our box office know well before the evenings performance so we can make sure each venue is prepared. We like to accommodate all of our patrons and want to allow everyone a great view to the production.

Location

Where are we?

Find out here.

Where are you located?

We are currently housed at The Jayhawk Theatre (720 SW Jackson) For some performances we do use other venues and we ask that you check our Season page which will have all of the information about the venue, including address.

I can't find you? What do I do?

It's 7:20 and you are in the car trying to find us, we understand. Please call, 785-409-3207 to get directions to the venue from your current location. We will do our best to accommodate you and make sure you get to the venue on time and into a seat.

Why do you move around so much?

We do not own a permanent theatrical venue and instead like to rent and help promote other non traditional theatre spaces in our area. These business owners have opened up their spaces and their doors for us and we'd like you to also see what they have to offer.

Volunteering

Want to get involved? This is how you do it.

I'm not an actor, but I want to get involved. How do I do it?

We'd love to have you work with us. We need many types of volunteers. We need box office and front of house volunteers, we need stage managers and board operators, we also need running and stage crew volunteers. If you'd like to volunteer in any capacity, please contact robin.adastratheatre@gmail.com to find out how you can best assist our most current production or an upcoming production.

How do I find out about volunteer opportunities?

Please fill out our contact form or subscribe to our email list for exclusive content and volunteer opportunities. We also advertise heavily on Facebook when we are looking for Volunteers in a pinch.
